About John Schlosser, President of Terminals, Kinder Morgan
John Schlosser, President of Terminals for Kinder Morgan, is the featured speaker at the Thursday, May 10, 2018 Commerce Club Luncheon.
John oversees the largest independent network of liquids and bulk terminals in North America. Kinder Morgan's terminals have approximately 125 million barrels of liquids capacity and handle about 100 million tons of bulk materials annually. The liquids terminals store petroleum products and chemicals and the bulk facilities store and handle coal, petroleum coke and other materials. Additionally, the Terminals business owns Jones Act product tankers that are engaged in the marine transportation of crude oil, condensate and refined products in the United States.
He joined Kinder Morgan in 2001 as Vice President of Sales and Business Development and was named President of Terminals in 2013. John has more than 30 years of experience in commodity transportation and logistics, business development and sales, sales management and operations. He previously worked for GATX, CSX Transportation, Sealand and Consolidated Freightways.
John holds a Bachelor of Science degree in science from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He is a member of the Houston Chapter’s American Diabetes Association board and is chairman elect.
