Todd Covini

Todd Covini leads the Marine Operations team for PEMEX Deer Park Refinery. He was appointed to the position in November 2021. Covini has an engineering background that includes power generation, tanker & tug/barge operations, vessel vetting/chartering, contract negotiations, refinery operations, and chemical manufacturing (including polyethylene production). He has upstream and downstream HR experience, operations section chief incident response experience, and is NIMS ICS emergency response incident commander trained. He has also served as a private equity consultant for the marine logistics petrochemical industry.

Covini is graduate of the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a degree in Marine Engineering and earned his MBA from Texas A&M University.
