Houston Maritime Center & Museum
Established in 2000, the Houston Maritime Center and Museum (“HMC&M”) is an extension of navigating Houston’s origin, history, and maritime connection to the world through exhibit, education, and experience. HMC&M promotes both knowledge of the pioneering spirit that empowered Texas while fostering awareness and appreciation of the current vast and often under-appreciated economic opportunities derived from that vision. We share this important information as a trusted public resource, museum, and educational bridge from K-12 school to colleges to the maritime community and public at large.
