This Commerce Club will highlight the benefits of collaborating with both the Brownwater and Bluewater industries for safe, sustainable, and efficient transportation of vital commodities. Brownwater vessels such as tugboats, towboats, and barges operate on America's waterways, oceans, and coasts, providing vital transportation services that reduce air emissions, water pollution, and highway congestion. These vessels also play a critical role in protecting homeland security and providing family-wage jobs for tens of thousands of Americans.
