Maria Ciliberti Welcomed as Vopak Americas President

 Vopak Americas welcomed Maria Ciliberti as their new division president on October 3. Ciliberti comes to Vopak Americas from Borealis, an Austrian chemical company, where she served as commercial vice president of Global Specialty Solutions.

Born and raised in Louisville, Ky., she has had a lengthy career with global leadership roles in both the Americas and Europe – working for Celanese, General Electric Plastics (Sabic), and Owens Corning.

Having found a “true Texan” while living in Germany, Ciliberti married her husband, Dale, in 2012. In her free time, she enjoys reading, studying the stock market, collecting art and antiques, traveling and spending time with her family including her five brothers and four sisters.

Ciliberti is a graduate of Ohio State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration.

She is excited to join Vopak and looking forward to working with the Americas team.
